Croughton Jubilee Team Aims

The Croughton Jubilee Team has been formed to use the occasion of the Diamond Jubilee to help strengthen our community and raise money for the village. The Jubilee is a great opportunity to encourage interaction between all ages and groups in the community and also with organisations such as our local Coop, the pub and the USAF base at RAF Croughton. It is important to us that we use the Jubilee to provide a legacy for the village not only in terms of a more integrated community but also improved community facilities. So the activities of the committee are planning our Jubilee festival in June, encouraging everyone in the village to participate in the preparations as well as the event, and coordinating fund-raising activities during the year. The money raised will go towards 4 projects that have been identified by the community as particularly important but which might not happen without this concerted effort by everyone. Our target is to raise £10,000 for these lasting improvements.

And here is a copy of our team rules.
