The Reading Room

Thank you to everyone who attended the open meeting in January. It was a great turn out and it was good to share ideas and opinions. A small working group has formed to take forward ideas on how we can save this old building from closure. If you would like to be part of this team or have any ideas to contribute, please come along to the next meeting on Thursday 1st March 7.30pm.

Allotments

The Allotment Gardens are situated on the western edge of the village, on the north side of High Street, between the centre of the village and Blenheim. The Allotments belong to, and are under the direction of, Croughton Parish Council. Below you will find links to the following documents:

Croughton Poor’s Allotment

Did you know that Croughton has a Poor's Allotment charity? We are not unique and there are quite a number of such charaties set up around the UK. The aim of these types of charity is to provide some relief generally or individually to persons resident in the area who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress by making grants of money or providing or paying for items, services or facilities calculated to reduce the need, hardship or distress of such persons. Croughton Pre-school

Pre-School Bank Assistant

We are looking for a qualified bank member of staff located at Croughton Village Hall, Northants. d-hoc hours but could include following: Monday, 8.30am–1.30pm. Tuesday to Thursday, 8.30am–3.30pm. Qualification requirements are Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Pre-School Practice.
