AGM and May meeting

On the 21st May the Wine Appreciation Group held its AGM. The committee wes re-elected and the Wine Appreciation Group now moves forward into its 3rd year.

We also looked at some more Italian wines courtesy of Waitrose and Amordivino. The evening was hosted by the committee themselves with Jamie presenting the Italian wines and a review of the past 12 months and Matt running a quiz. A copy of the review slides can be found here.

The favourite White was Gavi di Tassarolo Fornace DOCG, Piemonte, Italy 2008. It scored 3.1 out of 5.

The favourite Red was Waitrose Barolo DOCG, Piedmonte, Italy 2006. It scored 3.8 out of 5.
