Thanks to all the members who attended our excellent 'Christmas Cheers!' event in December and congratulations to all the lucky prize winners!
We had a look at the Christmas specials that the local supermarkets were offereing and ended up with a selection from Tesco, Sainsburys and Morrisons. Tesco came out particularly well with some very good wines. It's worth checking the local stores to see if there's any left!
The favourite White was a desert wine, Morrisons Mont Tauch, Muscat de Rivesaltes from France. It scored 3.7 out of 5.
The favourite Red was Tesco Finest Malbec 2008 from Argentina. It scored a very high 4.2 out of 5.
